At the time of this posting, my Mom is 38,000 feet above Hoxie, KS. I know this because of flightstatus.com, and interactive website that shows flight data in real time. I first heard about it on Mahalo Daily, and then from eHub.

Altitude: 38,000 feet (11,582 meters)

From STL: 530 miles (853 km)
This is a very useful site. I also like how their main page is a Google Maps mashup of all the major airports, and if they are showing delays.
Now my mom is in Colorado, I better hurry up and get the airport!
