iPhone 3G aggressive disassembly

iPhone 3G Disassembly

You’ve been waiting for this new iPhone for weeks now, but have you seen it destroyed?

It evens turns into a mirror when you light it on fire, and throw it up in the air a bunch of times. (I removed the video of this because it’s a little too evil :-X)

iPhone 3G Disassembly

The most stable element of the new iPhone is the plastic back cover.

It took two strong kicks to even break the main composition of this day-old handheld.

Even after we smashed it every which way, the back was still in pretty good shape.

The sim card holder is actually pretty stable.

Please don’t try this at home. Only at a bar.

Kitty and his iPhone

This iPhone was already broken when we got our hands on it. The above photos and videos only prove this device’s durability, and we think you should go buy one right now :)

Wow, dumbest thing I’ve seen today. Click here http://www.kiva.org to see what kind of good you could have done with $200. It’s bad enough that we indulge in all kind of bullshit we don’t need. But buying something just to destroy it on camera is pretty darn retarded.

@Bjoern: This test was done to see how the phone held up under pressure. No one spent $200!

Wow! okay remind me when I’m next in SF never to mix you with beer and my white 16GB one I’m getting (Optus sold out.. but I’m first in the next batch list for when they get refilled this week or next!).

One has to ask the question though, how do you find a pre-broken iPhone like the day they come out? wait, you’re in America, someone probably decided to take a bath with one right? haha

I guess that’s what happens when you get impatient with the Apple activation servers for holding back on new iPhone registrations.
