By now, you are probably a master at IMing and chatting with friends online. You use AIM, YIM, Adium, and IRC. GChat and Facebook Chat work well in the browser, but there is chatter of a slimmer client, and it doesn’t go down every day like Twitter.
Welcome to Chatterous, the next generation of chatting on the web.
You can create chat groups and channels in seconds. I was really impressed because Chatterous never asked me for an email address until I was engaged into the chat experience.
When news breaks on the web, people usually turn to Twitter, but these days, it’s unreliable. Imagine getting a chat URL where hundreds of people are debating a topic in real time. There is no instantaneous public forum on the web today. I think Chatterous could change that in a hurry.

Yaay! Chatterous FTW!
It’s so gratifying to know that more cool people are using and loving Chatterous due to my digital pimping on Twitter and Wordpress.
But srsly, good to see you over there this morning! Hope to be chatting with you again soon.
I have been using Chatterous religiously for the past couple of months for:
- working with my BarCampSeattle volunteer group
- collaborating with my direct reports on features
- a type of blogging tool with one other person - at some point we will add the summarized thoughts to a blog
It has changed the way I work and interact with people. It is truly a productivity winner!!
