Follow the Oympic torch

Carl Harris and I went down to see the torch at the Embarcadero, but the route was redirected. Here are some of his pictures taken with his iPhone:

Twitterati Drinkup

Laughing Squid and RoboGames hosted their second Twitterati Drinkup at O’Neill’s Irish Pub last night.

The guy from RoboGames was letting us play with the Robo1. He can do flips and stand up if he falls down.

The venue was huge, and it turned out to be a really fun night. I hope they do this again [...]

The web allows us to keep in touch with our friends in so many ways today. When I log into Facebook, I am immediately greeted with a news feed of activity.

Users can update their status too. So whether you like it or not, you know what they are doing.

Planet Blacksburg’s new photo page

Brian Sewell, Planet Blacksburg’s newest sports photographer has redesigned the photo door.
Sewell and PB’s current webmaster, Kevin Cupp, are both very talented photographers. One of my friends once said that most of the web geeks he knows are good photographers.
I think this site looks great now… a lot better than when I left it [...]

SxSW Interactive Party

South by Southwest is arguably the best interactive media conference in the world. It takes place in Austin, Tx. in March, and every year it gets better.

Addicted to social media

Something might be wrong with me. My dream sequences go through imaginary Firefox browsers. I am always thinking about publishing my life online. Maybe cuz it’s so easy?
First thing this morning, I quickly added about 20 photos to Facebook which only took about 5 minutes.
